Our Programs

The National Audit of Migraine and registry aims to record how migraine care is delivered across the UK to inform the public, patients and relevant healthcare bodies and policymakers on clinical practises and NICE recommendations.

The Clinical performance indicators (CPIs) of the Migraine Audit are measurable metrics used to evaluate the quality of care currently being provided. These indicators will help us assess whether migraine diagnosis, treatment and outcomes align with best practices or established standards (e.g. NICE Quality standard 42 [QS42]). These CPIs include:

1. Diagnosis and early detection.

2. Patient monitoring and follow-up.

3. Patient outcomes (e.g. treatment efficacy and safety, complications, repeated consultations).

4. Quality of care.

5. Cost-effectiveness and resource utilization.

6. Patient-centered metrics (e.g. patient reported outcomes).

7. Referrals and multidisciplinary care.
